DISTANCE REIKI
Trying to understand the concept of distance reiki is a baffling one as it seemingly defies logic! The most simplistic explanation that I can provide is that we accept that energy does travel through time and space when we consider that light energy from stars reaches us here on Earth. Therefore, it is not inconceivable that reiki energy can travel through space from where I am located to wherever you or your horse are located.
Benefits of Distance Reiki
Distance reiki may be beneficial if you are unable to travel to the clinic or you feel more comfortable in your own surroundings. I am able to send you reiki from wherever you or your horse are in the UK so location is not a barrier!
The benefits for you or your horse’s health are the same as outlined on the human and horse pages. The strength of the treatment is exactly the same as a hands-on treatment and some people suggest that it is actually more powerful.
Like a hands-on treatment, distance reiki can do no harm. It is essential that you have an open mind so that you can fully benefit from the treatment.
What to expect from a Distance Reiki session
We will arrange a mutually convenient date and time for the session. I will require an understanding of what you wish to gain from the session, and we will set an intention of what we are trying to achieve. This can be completed via a telephone call or an on-line meeting. Once this has been completed, I will leave you to make your self comfortable and it is up to you whether you listen to relaxing music, light a candle, use essential oils etc – whatever makes you feel relaxed!
The reiki session lasts for approximately 30 minutes. Once this has been completed, I will speak to you again to see how you feel, what you experienced, and I will share what I felt.
For a distance reiki session for your horse, I will arrange a mutually convenient time for us to discuss the reasons why you would like your horse to receive reiki, and we will agree the intention for the session. A specific time does not need to be set for me to send the reiki but for the horse to benefit from the session, it needs to be conducted when he is not being ridden, transported, being shod etc. Once the session has been completed, I will send you a report with my findings.
