MY REIKI WORLD
I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself and welcome you to my reiki world.
I have a passion for helping people and horses. Through my own life experiences, I understand how these can impact on your health and discovered reiki as a way to help myself and very importantly, my horse (the handsome boy in the photo!). He raced for 6 years so he has a few physical issues and emotional ones too.
I worked in Human Resources for an emergency service for 20 years. This has given me an excellent grounding in working with people and extensive experience of supporting people with psychological ill health and physical problems. As a result of this role, I hope that people find me approachable and trust me to support them.
I have had a passion for horses since I was small and was lucky enough to have my own pony and spent many happy years learning and having fun in the local Pony Club. Following this, I completed a HND in Equine Science before working on dressage and eventing yards and a National Hunt Stud. This has given me an invaluable background within a number of disciplines and with a variety of horses of differing breeds and temperaments.
I am now qualified as a Reiki Master. It sounds like a cliché, but I can honestly say that reiki has been transformational for both my horse and me and it is an absolute pleasure to now be able to share the benefits with others – whether it be for humans or horses!
For human clients, I am based in Bedwas, Caerphilly but would do home visits if you are unable to attend the clinic. For horses, I cover Caerphilly, Cardiff, Newport, Bridgend, Vale of Glamorgan, Torfaen, Blaenau Gwent and Rhondda Cynon Taff but could travel to other areas if there were a viable number of clients.
